Morning Mess

I take a few minutes to get something done around the house and when I come back there is a whole new mess of Kix cereal to tackle.

Our Schedule is Booked...

...with lots of playdates. Now that the summer is nearing an end we have been planning all those playdates us moms had inteneded to have all summer, but never got around to doing so. Josie recently spent a day at the park with Annabelle and a day at Micah's house.

This picture makes me laugh. Josie and Micah are making block soup and of course are fight over who gets to stir the soup!

Grandpa

On Thursday, July 30th my Grandpa Francis passed away. If you were one of the lucky ones to have known him I am sure you already know what an amazing man he was. I have never met another person with such an overwhelming love of family, outpouring of kindness and generosity, and a passion for life than Grandpa. He will be missed greatly. His love will always remain in our hearts.
The picture below was at his 80th birthday celebration this past May.

Baptism

This past Sunday Grant was baptized. His Godparents are my brother, Brandon, and Tony's sister, Andrea. Grant was an angel during the ceremony, luckily no screaming outbursts! The baptismal gown he wore was also worn by Tony and Tony's dad. It was very neat to see that the gown has been passed down for three generations.

Don't Blink...

...because before you know it your little one will grow to be eight weeks old. I know everyone says it, but really where does the time go?

Pizza Night-Grill Style

I would like to take credit for this creation, but the credit goes to Mark Francis. These are the easiest grilled pizzas you could ever make. Simply load a Flat Out pita wrap (bought at Walmart in the Deli area) with all the pizza toppings your heart desires and grill. I brushed olived oil on my pitas and pre-grilled them without the foil for a few minutes before adding the toppings to make them a little crispy. They make perfect personal sized pizzas.
